Your spiritual journey now begins...

But where do I go?

Well, first off, you find yourself traveling through the proverbial tunnel towards the light and are then greeted by other spirits, possibly friends, relatives, or maybe your spirit guide(s). You are of course naked and are immediately given clothes. Your spirit friends seem to know just what your taste is and fit you very perfectly and comfortably in clothes that you yourself would have picked out if given the chance. This may be the only set of clothes you'll ever need since they don't get dirty or ever wear out.

You're then taken to a way station or concourse of some kind. The atmosphere is very loving and beautiful. Here your orientation begins. You are told about the "law of attraction" and the "law of compensation". It is explained that you must start your spiritual journey based on your present soul condition. It is also explained that the spirit realm is a life of progression - that you will be able to move beyond where you start out, but how and when is up to you. It is briefly explained that there are two paths of progression here, one leading to the perfected natural love (sphere six - Paradise) and one leading to the Celestial Spheres (Heaven). As you are trying to take all of this in, you are probably not listening too carefully about the paths of progression.

Seeing as you just committed suicide (by pushing the self destruct button), which is a violation of one of God's laws, and that you probably weren't the most loving person while on earth, it is explained that your point of origin in the spirit world  will be in some darkness. A bit more introduction and explanation concerning your new home and you're then escorted to your starting point.

You were never really an evil person on earth, so you find that there is some little  light and pleasantness around you. You are left to yourself and begin moving about trying to get a feel for your new surroundings. The first thing you readily notice is how etheric your form is. And also, how quick and easily you can get around. You find that you can kind of fly, or walk at your leisure. You also notice that your senses appear similar to the human form yet you see, hear and comprehend things differently than when on earth. You find also that you do not use your mouth to talk. As you spend more time in this sphere, you begin to reflect on your actions, thoughts and treatment of others while on earth. You begin to realize that that life style is what brought you to this level. Through study and conversations with other and brighter (better) spirits you learn that if you were a more loving person on earth you could have started your journey in this life further up the spheres of progression.

Tired now of this sphere of darkness, you finally inquire as to how you may begin to progress out of this sphere. You are told that first you must rid your soul of the attitudes, values and inharmonious thoughts you had while on  earth. By deciding to change and being kind to your companions you will slowly get out of this negative soul condition and begin to progress. You discover that a really bad person on earth may expect this process to take longer than a lifetime. This is the normal way out. [Ref.: What happens after you die (FREE PDF)]

But - Good News! There is a short cut. This is by way of God's Divine Love. If you earnestly and longingly pray from your heart (soul) and ask God for His Divine Love, you will begin to receive this love as a real sensation. It may take days or even weeks, but you will truly begin to feel a warm sensation (and sometimes a pressure) in your chest. [This of course is if you start while still on earth. I do not know what the exact feeling is to a spirit, but the process is the same.] Not only does it get you out of darkness faster than the normal way, but also accelerates your progress through the spiritual spheres and prepares you for entrance into the Celestial Heavens. If this process is started on earth you can expect your point of origin in the spirit realm to be in light, love and beauty instead of darkness.

Note: Besides the Celestial Heavens being much lovelier, and limitless in spheres and progression, there is another main advantage to residence here, and this is that with entrance into this (God's) kingdom comes the promise of immortality! Spirits in Paradise do not have the knowledge  of this promise!!

Warning: It is mentioned by many dark spirits that it is hard to think of spiritual things while in hell. So getting out quickly is not so easy!

If, in fact, it turns out that you are a very inharmonious (bad) person here on earth, you may want to give the following some thought and possibly begin your spiritual progress now!

A description of Hell from a dark spirit initialed G.H.B. who died in 1899:

"In this hell of mine, and there are many like it, instead of beautiful homes, as the other spirits described, we have dirty, rotten hovels all crooked and decayed, with all the foul smells of a charnel house ten times intensified, and instead of beautiful lawns and green meadows and leafy woods filled with musical birds making the echoes ring with their songs, we have barren wastes, and holes of darkness and gloom and the cries and cursings of spirits of damnation without hope; and instead of living, silvery waters we have stagnant pools filled with all kinds of repulsive reptiles and vermin, and smells of inexpressible, nauseating stinks.

I tell you that these are all real, and not creatures of the imagination or the outflowing of bitter recollections. And as for love, it has never shown its humanizing face in all the years that I have been here - only cursings and hatred and bitter scathings and imprecations, and grinning spirits with their witchlike cacklings. No rest, no hope, no kind words or ministering hand to wipe away the scalding tears which so often flow in mighty volumes. No, hell is real and hell is here.

We do not have any fire and brimstone, or grinning devils with pitch forks and hoofs and horns as the churches teach; but what is the need or necessity for such accompaniments? They would not add to the horrors or to our torments. I tell you my friend that I have faintly described our homes in these infernal regions and I cannot picture them as they are.

But the horror and pity of it all is that hope does not come to us with one faint smile to encourage us that there may at some time be an ending to all these torments, and in our hopeless despair we realize that our doom is fixed for all eternity."

So, what will it be for you – a slow path to an unknown destiny in Paradise, or the short-cut to the promise of immortality in the Celestial Heavens?
